SCREENING WOOD CHIPS

Screening wood chips

Some tips for screening wood chips:

If only the fines (needles, etc.) need to be separated, it is advisable to use a horizontal harp screen (S-type). For dry materials, a square mesh screen is recommended.

For coarse fractions (eg separate G50 from G100), a simple square mesh screen is recommended.

Usually woodchips are separated to 2 fractions (without chute and separating plate), but with LS24 or LS28 also 3 fractions are possible. 2 fractions are standard.
